HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - In the aftermath of former head football coach Charles Huff’s departure to the University of Memphis, University of Southern Miss Offensive Coordinator Blake Anderson took over the operation as USM’s interim head coach.
Anderson confirmed Wednesday the Golden Eagles’ roster is full-go for their upcoming game against Western Kentucky University in the New Orleans Bowl.
He also confirmed that the entire coaching staff, minus Huff, will be on hand.
When asked about USM’s current head coaching vacancy, Anderson made it crystal clear about how he felt.
“I’ve made it very clear I’d love to be the head coach here.” Anderson said.
