Note: This is the penultimate Mercury preview of Pioneer Athletic Conference boys basketball programs now that the 2025-26 season has arrived. Up next is Norristown, which looks to improve upon last year’s 3-19 campaign.
While last year registered as Norristown’s third straight losing season, it was by all accounts the Eagles’ roughest one on the hardwood in some time.
The two seasons prior to last winter, the program got to double-digit wins with 10 each time, and the games were much more competitive than last year’s iteration that finished 3-19. By all accounts, the team was just not as unified as it had been, not to mention it was starting a freshman point guard in a rugged PAC Liberty Division.
It was a tough road for sure, but given the program’s penchant for winning either 10 or 2
