MEDINA, N.D. — The outlook last season for the Medina/Pingree-Buchanan boys basketball team noted they were one of the younger teams in the area.

On top of that, Coach Jeremy Weinmeister was heading into his first season at the helm of the program.

“Last year turned out pretty good,” Weinmeister said. “We had four seniors, but we had little experience at the varsity level.”

The pretty good season included a win at the district tournament and a fourth-place finish at regionals.

“All-in-all, a pretty good season,” he said.

And he hopes for a better season this year.

“This year at the varsity level, we have a lot more experience,” Weinmeister said. “We have three returning starters and one key substitute from last year.”
