EAGLE GROVE, Iowa —

Mark Hennigar, the interim chief of the Eagle Grove Police Department, is facing criminal charges after being arrested by a Garner police officer last week.

Hennigar is charged with solicitation of a felony, with court records indicating the charge is related to a domestic incident where Hennigar allegedly told someone to stab another person over the phone.

KCCI has reached out to the city of Eagle Grove and the Eagle Grove Police Department but has not received a response.
