BONANZA, Ark. (KFSM) - An Arkansas man is fighting to finalize his mother’s divorce, saying it was granted the day before she and her 6-year-old twins were found dead in their home.
In the midst of his grief, 24-year-old John Powell says he’s holding onto his mother’s faith. Charity Powell-Beallis, 40, and her 6-year-old twins were found shot to death last Wednesday in their Bonanza home, according to Sebastian County investigators.
“She was a good Christian woman that loved her children and loved her family and friends more than anything. She always put God first, and I’m grateful for that because I know where she is now: in heaven,” Powell said.
So far, no suspects have been publicly named, and no one has been charged in the killings. Powell says that uncertainty has left him looking
