Jet2 has warned passengers flying to and from Portugal and Italy of strike action taking place in both countries which is resulting in travel disruption. Strikes taking place in Portugal today (Thursday, December 11) are impacting some Jet2 flights, while those departing or arriving in Italy tomorrow could be impacted by transport strikes.

In Portugal the country’s two main unions have called for strike action affecting transport, flights and public services in the country. It’s the first general strike in the country for 12 years, as workers dispute the government’s planned changes to employment laws.
