A dramatic scene from China has taken over social media after a woman was caught on camera clinging to the exterior of a high-rise building, reportedly to avoid being discovered by her lover’s wife.

Residents were stunned to see the woman dangling from the 10th-floor balcony, clearly struggling to keep her grip as she edged along the building’s outer wall. The Sun reports that the man, shirtless and visibly frantic, briefly speaks to her from the window before disappearing back inside, leaving her stranded on the ledge.
