AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) made a $5,000 donation to Golden Harvest Food Bank, aiding local families struggling with food insecurity.

The contribution will support Golden Harvest Food Bank’s efforts to serve communities in South Carolina and Georgia by sourcing nutritious food and distributing it to individuals in need.

The organization collaborates with 350 partner agencies and programs and relies on more than 17,000 volunteer hours annually.

SRMC Senior Vice President of Optimization & Integration Steve Howell presented the check to Golden Harvest.
