A 'do not' warning has been issued to everyone who will be drinking Baileys over Christmas . The Irish cream liqueur is a popular choice of drink set to be enjoyed by many during the festive period, whether poured straight over ice, added to coffee or hot chocolate or mixed into cocktails.

Cream liqueur drinks such as Baileys often have a short shelf life once opened, meaning many of us end up with a half-finished bottle left in the fridge. Whilst we are all looking forward to enjoying a Christmas tipple or two, people are being urged to think twice about how they dispose of leftover alcohol, as certain foods and drinks can 'wreak havoc' on our plumbing if we pour them down the sink.
