CAPE-ATLANTIC LEAGUE SEASON IN REVIEW, 2025

Player of the Year

Nina Aponte did just a bit of everything for St. Joseph (Hamm.) in a historic season for the program. She led the team with 25 assists, tied for the lead with five defensive saves and was third in points with 53. Aponte’s totals in her junior year were career highs across the board. With Aponte helping lead the way, St. Joseph won its first Cape-Atlantic League Tournament and reached the South Jersey, Non-Public final.

Kate Cronk has endured some lean years with the Vineland squad, but her work and determination have turned things around. This program, which at one point went 1,795 days between wins , captured a Cape-Atlantic League United Division crown in 2025 with a perfect 8-0 record. The team also
