Jim Ward - the voice actor best known for his voice work on Nickelodeon's The Fairly OddParents died on Wednesday December 10, at the age of 66. His wife Janice confirmed the news that he had passed away following complications from advanced Alzheimer's. The beloved star was recieving treatment in Los Angeles at Silverado Beverly Place Memory Care at the time of his death.

Tributes flooded in from heartbroken fans as the news became public. Writing on Facebook one commented: "Jim Ward has sadly passed away. The voice of Doug Dimmadone, Chet Ubetcha, and many more great animated roles... this has not been an easy day for animation fans. RIP to a legend." Another added: "Jim will be doing inpressions up in heaven, slightly inappropriate but the angels will be laughing their halos off. RIP."
