WILLIAMSBURG — TWO TREES’ 280 Kent Avenue – twin 591-foot residential towers designed by REX – has advanced deep into foundation work , positioning the 1.17 million-square-foot development to hit street level by spring, according to YIMBY New York. The 50-story pair will bring 1,262 units, including 25% affordable housing, plus retail and parking, making it the tallest project on the Williamsburg waterfront within the Domino Sugar masterplan. New images show glass curtainwalls, wraparound balconies with staggered elliptical cutouts, and undulating podium glazing.
A tower crane is now active, and rebar installation is underway across the block-long site. Completion is slated for fall 2030, with rentals or condos still unannounced.
