Bandipora, December 11 : In a significant boost to urban infrastructure, the J&K Government has accorded administrative approval for Rs two crores for major developmental works and overall beautification of Bandipora Town, under the Finance Commission (FC) Grants.
The approval follows a formal proposal moved earlier this year by MLA Bandipora, Nizam-ud-Din Bhat, who had written to the Principal Secretary on 23 June 2025, seeking funds up to ₹4 crore for comprehensive beautification of the town while highlighting the need for market development, improved pathways, and aesthetic enhancement across Bandipora.
According to an official order issued by the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir, the sanctioned amount will fund construction of lanes, drains, link roads,
