LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - One person was cited after running a red light and causing a crash that injured three on O Street Wednesday.
Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to the crash at O Street and Cotner Boulevard at 1:19 p.m.
A crash report completed by Lincoln Police shows that a white Toyota traveling north on Cotner collided with a red Toyota that was traveling west on O Street in the intersection.
Witnesses reported seeing the driver in the white Toyota run through the light as the light was turning red before the crash, according to the report.
Once the two vehicles collided, the white Toyota continued toward the Sid Dillon dealership parking lot and crashed into a parked, unoccupied vehicle, police wrote. The parked vehicle sustained $1,000 in damage.
