If you're still on the hunt for your holy grail sunscreen, social media may have you wondering if a Korean SPF is the answer. And, as experts tell TODAY.com, there are some real advantages to Asian sunscreens. But there are also some important differences to keep in mind before you buy.
Dermatologist Dr. Joyce Park tells TODAY.com that interest in Korean and Japanese sunscreens have definitely increased recently — both on social media and among her patients.
"People are raving about how lightweight and cosmetically elegant they are, and honestly, as a dermatologist and a sunscreen lover myself, I get it," Park says, adding that she's used a lot of Asian sunscreens in the past few years.
