Nine people, four of which were under the age of 18, were arrested by San Jose police on suspicion of gang-related crimes, the department said Wednesday.

Police said the arrests were the result of a large-scale investigation into gang-related crimes that took place between September and November, including things such as vandalism and firearm offenses.

Seven suspects were identified as allegedly being responsible for crimes, including two 16-year-old boys, a 17-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy. Also identified were Luis Haro, 20, Elijah Santos, 18, and Angel Gonzalez, also 18. Arrest and search warrants were issued for all suspects.
