Three men arrested during Dec. 8 FBI raids in Bloomington are jailed on federal gun charges. One of them, and a woman also taken into custody, face drug distribution allegations.

The charges stem for a 2024 investigation. A federal indictment says that between January and August last year, the three "trafficked in narcotics while possessing firearms."

The arrests were the culmination of an investigation that started in May 2024 and led to searches of the men's homes that August by the Bloomington Police Department, Indiana State Police, the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration,
