A tricky evening commute.

To d ay [WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY starting at 12 PM ] : This morning is cloudy as temps try to work up to the low and mid 20s with a light southeast breeze at 5 to 10 mph. A clipper system brings in some light to moderate snow starting in the early afternoon and continuing through the evening commute to make travel hazardous. The most likely corridor for snow will be a long I-380 and to the south and west. Northeast of here, there probably won’t be a lot of snow at all. Another wildcard will be the possibility of a wintry mix and light icing on the southwestern fringe of the snow band, but this should mainly impact central and southern Iowa.
