PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Marcello Vitti, Dearborn Divine Child

The University of Iowa signee led Divine Child to the Division 4 state championship by collecting 106 tackles (5 for loss), two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and an interception that he returned for a touchdown from his safety position during the Falcons’ 13-1 campaign. He also shined at running back and tallied 120 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries in the 23-22 state finals win over Hudsonville Unity Christian.
