OGLEBAY RESORT, W.Va. — The West Virginia First Foundation held its annual meeting Thursday at Oglebay Resort, where the board elected officers, approved the 2026 meeting calendar, and advanced nearly $18 million in funding through its Momentum Initiative Grant round.

Final grant awards will be announced once all required documentation is completed, with applicants receiving notification by the end of the year.

Elected officers for 2026 include:

Chair: Greg Duckworth

Vice Chair: Dr. Matthew Christiansen

Treasurer: Jeff Sandy

Secretary: Dora Stutler

Executive Board Member: Alys Smith
