Chandigarh: South Africa emerged victorious in the second T20I, defeating India by 51 runs at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh. Quinton de Kock’s explosive 90 off 46 balls propelled South Africa to a commanding 213/4, which proved too challenging for the Indian batting lineup.
India’s top-order struggled, with Shubman Gill (0) and Suryakumar Yadav (5) failing to fire. Abhishek Sharma (17) also fell short of expectations. Tilak Varma’s 62 off 34 was the only notable contribution from the Indian batting side, as they were bowled out for 162 in 19.1 overs.
The five-match series is now level at 1-1, with the third T20I scheduled to take place in Dharamsala on December 14 Tags: Chandigarh India South Africa T20 Match
