Thirteen years ago, Darwin the Ikea monkey became a global, viral sensation after he was found wearing a tiny shearling coat and a diaper in a parking garage at an Ikea store in North York.
These days, the adult Japanese rhesus macaque stands at about five-foot-four and has a very shy and reserved personality at his home at a sanctuary about 100 kilometres north of Toronto in the community of Sunderland.
