WEXFORD COUNTY, MI – An alleged twisted and changing tale about what happened to Rebecca Park resulted in the open murder arrest of her fiancé, but, as other suspects emerged, charges were never filed, court documents reveal.
The body of Rebecca Park, 22, was found in the Manistee National Forest on Tuesday, Nov. 25, about 2.5 miles from the Wexford County residence of her biological mother and her mother’s husband, who are both charged with murder and other crimes related to her death.
Park had been missing since Nov. 3; she was 38 weeks pregnant with a son. The child had been cut out of her womb, and he was later determined to be dead.
