DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Several emergency vehicles were spotted near a bike trail in northwest Decatur Thursday morning.

Viewer photos sent to WAND News showed several first responders near North Taylor Avenue and IL-121. The location is near the Stevens Creek Bikeway not far from Greendell Park.

Photos showed at least five police cars, a fire truck, and an ambulance.

A WAND photojournalist at the scene said first responders left the area just before 12 p.m.

It's not clear why police and other emergency responders were in the area.

WAND News reached out to Decatur police who had no comment.
