A third so-called "Loop puncher" is facing charges after police say he battered three women in separate attacks in downtown Chicago while on electronic monitoring.
Marlon Miller, 40, is facing three felony charges for aggravated battery in a public place after attacking several women on Dec. 10 in separate incidents that prosecutors say were "wholly unprovoked."
The first attack occurred around 8:15 a.m. Dec. 10, according to prosecutors. Miller walked up to his first victim, Sherri Bester, near 1 East Randolph Street and punched her in the eye, breaking her glasses and bruising her.
Bester is from the southwest suburbs and said she was walking from the Millenium Park Metra stop to her office in the Loop when she was attacked.
