Sherrone Moore was abruptly fired as head coach of the Michigan Wolverines this week, and hours later was arrested by police.
Moore, who took over the Wolverines after former head coach Jim Harbaugh returned to the NFL, had just completed his second season at the helm, but now is facing legal scrutiny after his ouster, with details still slowly emerging on how the case unfolded.

Why was Moore fired?
Moore was fired Wednesday by the university after an investigation into his conduct as the school’s football coach.
According to the university, Moore was fired for having an inappropriate relationship with a staff member.
