KALAMAZOO, MI –– The college offers keep pouring in for Jakari Lipsey.
The rising Loy Norrix junior prodigy’s latest comes from Louisiana State University and new coach Lane Kiffin, landing a scholarship offer from the SEC power on Thursday.
It’s been a steady ascension for Lipsey across his prep campaign, receiving his first Division-I offer from Iowa State back in May and since collecting over a dozen offers at the next level.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound junior offensive lineman has served as the cornerstone of Loy Norrix’s trenches, which included a spectacular 2025 season that featured a Kalamazoo-area leading 97 pancake blocks.
Lipsey also was a standout on Loy Norrix’s defensive line, finishing with 59 tackles and three sacks.
