Director Carl Rinsch has been found guilty of fraud against Netflix after failing to deliver his multi-million dollar sci-fi series.
Business Insider confirmed that Rinsch was found guilty on all counts in a Manhattan court. The director was found guilty of using funds meant for his television series White Horse on securities trades, eventually using those profits to purchase luxury items and to sue the streamer for more money to finish the series.
The total is said to be somewhere in the $11 million range. Rinsch is facing prison time for the charges, with the maximum sentence for the crime around 90 years.
