Chris Waddle has urged Tottenham to avoid a shock transfer move for Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, insisting he is too ‘inconsistent’.
Currently on loan at Barcelona from United, Rashford has been linked with Spurs but Waddle says he has ‘not shown enough in the Premier League’.
The 28-year-old, who also spent time on loan at Aston Villa last term, has played a total of 297 games in the top-flight with 89 goals and 42 assists.
Rashford has shined since joining Barca on loan and the La Liga side have the option to make it permanent in the summer but it’s reported a transfer may be complicated due to his high wages and the Catalan club’s finances.
