A cappella group Straight No Chaser is once again bringing their repertoire of Christmas classics to Embassy Theatre, this year with the addition of material from a new album, “Holiday Road.”
Tyler Trepp says he likes getting a new tour ready and performing it across the country.
“It’s always fun to see how the audience is going to react to this new show that we put on,” he says in a November phone call from California. Straight No Chaser will perform at the Embassy on Friday night in a show with limited seating remaining.
Among 14 tracks on the new album are “Christmas is Different” with Hunter Hayes, “Blue Christmas” with country singer Mickey Guyton, a parody of “Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer” and several originals.
Trepp says the group is excited with how the album turned out.
