BEDFORD — Local landowners will have an opportunity to learn more about woodland management next month as the White River Forestry Committee hosts its annual “Breakfast with a Forester” on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026. The free event will take place from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Otis Park Bathhouse, 607 Tunnelton Road in Bedford.

The informal program is designed to give landowners direct access to professional foresters who can answer questions about forest management, timber valuation, and conservation practices. Attendees are encouraged to bring their specific concerns and learn more about caring for and improving their woodland areas.

Breakfast will be provided, and surrounding counties are welcome to participate. RSVPs are required by Jan. 9.

To register, call 812-279-8117 ext. 3.
