Kyojin , a World War II story that teams American and Japanese soldiers against a race of subterranean giants, has taken the top prize at this year’s Script2Comic Contest . The contest gives screenwriters the chance to turn their work into a comic book or graphic novel, with writers The Mul Brothers winning this year’s honors.

AMP Comics, which is behind titles such as Lovestruck and Lost Boy , will publish their work as a comic in the United States and also develop it for the screen.
