NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A newly released crash report reveals that a Tennessee driver survived a serious crash where his dump truck broke through a guard rail and flipped down a steep hill.

The wreck happened just after noon Wednesday along Briley Parkway in Nashville. A Tennessee Highway Patrol preliminary crash report says that a 21-year-old Tennessee man was driving that dump truck south in the left lane when he “failed” to stay in his lane, overcorrected and veered into the far right lane.

He hit a Jeep Renegade before breaking through the guard rail and flipping down the embankment, landing on the shoulder of Centennial Boulevard below.
