RAYTOWN, Mo. (KCTV) - A shooting in Raytown has resulted in felony charges for three men.
Court documents filed in Jackson County by prosecutor Melesa Johnson charge the three men after an incident on Dec. 9.
Thirty-year-old Tyler J. Huntington is charged with unlawful use of a weapon, first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action.
Thirty-year-old Victor Viverette is charged with first-degree domestic assault and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Fifty-four-year-old Jerome D. Huntington is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.
According to court documents, Viverette was accused of strangling his girlfriend and taking her dog earlier on Tuesday. Tyler and Jerome, the brother and dad of Viverette’s girlfriend, attempted to follow Viverette and confront him.
