BOARDMAN - Texas Roadhouse in Boardman is holding a three-day donation drive collecting food, clothing, toys and more for the holiday season.
The restaurant is inviting the community to donate whatever they can at its "Fill A Dumpster" drive between Thursday, December 11 and Saturday, December 13 to benefit Project Making Kids Count (MKC) and Second Harvest Food Bank.
The restaurant partnered with Eorio's Dumpster Rentals to rent a roll-off to fill up for the event. If the roll-off is filled, Eorio's will provide another.
Training coordinator Shannon Waltz tells 21 News some of the most needed items are peanut butter, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, dried pasta, soup, baby items and hygiene products.
In addition, every individual item donated will net donors a raffle ticket
