CLARK FORK, Idaho — Bonner County Road & Bridge has now declared a County-wide Flooding State of Emergency, the agency reported on its Facebook page . Road and Bridge crews were onsite early Thursday morning working on various Clark Fork roads that washed out.

The agency encourages people to stay away to give crews space to work.

"Although it is understandable to be curious and want to take a look at this action, we encourage would-be-onlookers to keep back and give space as the roads are currently incredibly unstable. Please be patient as we work to fix this issue," the department said.

Several creeks around the North Idaho town of Clark Fork are spilling their banks, causing road washouts and shelter-in-place orders for some people.
