Maccabi beat ASVEL in Tel Aviv 92–84 in Round 15 of the EuroLeague.

After more than two years, the best European basketball has returned to Israel. With a decision made during November, Israeli clubs received permission to play games in front of their own fans, and Maccabi were the first to do so.

Coach Oded Kattash’s players finally used the home-court advantage and managed to defeat the French side. The Tel Aviv team led from the very start, their advantage was on several occasions even in double digits, but ASVEL came back. In the end, Maccabi repelled all the visitors’ runs to secure their second win in a row.
