2 years after closure: The cost and progress of the new Washington Bridge

The most recent data shows that as of Nov. 21, the state paid nearly $45 million toward emergency costs, $78 million on the old bridge’s demolition, and nearly $19 million toward the $427 million replacement westbound Washington Bridge.
