DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse to close Jantzen Beach Center store

A discount designer footwear chain will close one of its Portland posts in January.

DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse) operates two locations in Portland — one at Cascade Station and another at Jantzen Beach Center. The latter will close its doors next month, according to a sign visible outside the store this week.

“This location is closing January 24,” the sign reads. “But don’t worry! You can still shop IRL at DSW Cascade Station.”

Based in Columbus, Ohio, DSW sells a range of designer and name brand footwear. The company operates more than 500 stores nationwide, including seven in Oregon . In addition to its two Portland stores, the chain also operates nearby locations in Beavert
