LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) - A popular restaurant in Lebanon and the community are mourning the death of the eatery’s founder on Thursday.

Demos’ Restaurant announced the death of Jim Demos.

“To the community he was a legendary restauranteur... but to us he was Dad and Papou,” the post on social media said. “The impact and legacy he made throughout his life can’t be measured.”

Demos retired from the restaurant years ago.

The restaurant touted that his legacy and recipes will continue to live on.
