BEREA — Browns center Ethan Pocic had just torn his Achilles in the fourth quarter of the Week 14 loss to the Tennessee Titans . Backup center Luke Wypler hadn't even gotten into the huddle yet.
Neither circumstance was enough to prevent Pocic from providing a few pointers to his understudy.
"I mean, one funny thing is when Ethan went down on Sunday, he's on the field waiting for the cart, telling me tips about what they're doing," Wypler said Dec. 11. "I mean, the guy has, he's laying there in pain, he's already trying to help me and get me ready. He'll always be a phone call away if I need anything.
