Multiple water rescues were underway this week as record levels of flooding drenched western Washington.

Overnight Wednesday, Eastside Fire & Rescue conducted a rescue after two drivers became stuck in rising water. In the video below, one person climbed a tree to avoid the water, while another got onto their car’s roof.

Fall City Fire, King County Sheriff’s Office, and the Whidbey Naval Helicopter Team assisted Eastside Fire & Rescue.
