MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - Hines Furlong Line announced Tuesday it will expand its Paducah operations with a $10.7 million investment.

The expansion will also create 50 new jobs.

The family-owned inland river transportation company plans a 15,000-square-foot addition and about 7,000 square feet of renovations at its Paducah Operations Center.

Hines Furlong is more than tripling the facility’s operational space used for vessel management, logistics, and maintenance. The expansion also includes spaces for training.

Construction is expected to be completed in late 2026.

Gov. Andy Beshear said the expansion will bolster western Kentucky’s economy. “This is a welcome investment in the Western Kentucky region that will provide 50 high-paying jobs for the local workforce,” Beshear said.
