A Long Island bank robber who allegedly held up two local Flagstars using stickup notes has been arrested, cops said Thursday.
Brian Blackford, 51, was pulled over by police during an early-morning traffic-stop in Copiague just before 1 a.m. Thursday when the officers on scene identified him as the suspected thief, according to Suffolk County police.
However, the accused thief didn’t go down without a fight and resisted arrest, cops said.
