NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - New details were recently released on the Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s agreement with Metro Nashville as it moves to a new home on the East Bank in Music City.
TPAC is responsible for the majority of the costs, including all design and construction costs, as well as other building costs.
If anything goes over the budget, TPAC is responsible for those costs, plus they have to meet project deadlines.
Also, as part of the agreement, the project calls for roadway improvements and more public access. Metro Nashville and Metro Nashville Public Schools will also get to use the center every year for 30 days for free.
