A domestic violence incident at a home in Grover, Wyoming, on Tuesday left a man dead and an 8-year-old child with a gunshot wound, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported in a Thursday statement.
Deputies responded to a 911 call that evening reporting a domestic violence incident at a home on Meadowlark Lane in the rural western Wyoming community, the sheriff’s office reports.
The time of the call wasn’t in the report and messages left for Lincoln County Sheriff Shane Johnson weren’t returned by publication time.
It also is unclear whether the 911 call originated from the home or elsewhere.
When they arrived, deputies contacted who the sheriff’s office describes a “an adult female victim and her four children after they fled the home.”
