MANHATTAN, Kan. (KCTV) - The first two hires for the Kansas State Wildcats in the Collin Klein era of the program were made Thursday.
K-State announced the hiring of Trey Scott as the Wildcats’ new general manager and Stanton Weber as the program’s newest special teams coordinator.
Both hires are K-State alums, with Scott concluding his playing career in Manhattan in 2011 and Weber finishing up his time playing for the Wildcats in 2015.
Scott, a Mill Valley High School alum, joins Klein’s staff after 11 years working in player personnel for NFL clubs and three years as an agent for coaches and executives.
