Anchorage Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman last seen more than a week ago.

Police say 28-year-old Kaitlyn Kaganak has not been in contact with her family, raising concerns for her safety. She was last seen on December 1st in the Bragaw Street area.

Kaitlyn is about 5’2”, 115 pounds, with brown hair and black eyes.

Authorities urge anyone with information to call Anchorage Police Dispatch at 3-1-1, or 907-786-8900, or submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at www.AnchorageCrimeStoppers.com .

Police stress that to remove someone from missing person status, APD must first be notified and then confirm contact with the individual in person.

Anyone who may have seen Kaitlyn or knows her whereabouts is asked to come forward immediately.
