Icy side streets and backroads will continue to be an issue through the weekend, as temperatures remain below freezing, turning bitter cold this weekend. Friday is a quiet day with flurries starting Friday night. A turn in the wind to the northwest will bring lake effect snow showers Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning. Accumulation is expected to be light, but around two inches is likely along the state line and across Southwest Michigan.
