PULASKI, Tenn. (WSMV) - Pulaski Electric System confirmed Thursday that a network interruption has impacted bill payments for some customers.

“Pulaski Electric System (PES) experienced a network interruption which temporarily disrupted our bill payment system,” CEO Scott Newton said in a message to WSMV4.

He said that customers have other options to pay their bills.

“Customers are able to pay their bills online through access on SmartHub, and secure automated phone payment. Bank drafts are functioning, and we have the option of ' Vanilla Pay ' at many retailers (Walmart/Walgreens/Dollar General etc)," he wrote.

A Facebook post from the utility provider said the PES lobby will reopen Friday at 9 a.m.
